Learning Outcomes
Throughout the Master of Land and Property Development program, I have built on my professional experience while expanding my knowledge of five key areas: Law and Regulation, Finance, Feasibility, Property Development, and Stewardship. Each of these areas plays an important role in the development process- from identifying potential opportunities and evaluating properties to managing projects through completion. Through my coursework, I have strengthened my understanding of real estate laws, financial analysis, market conditions, and the environmental factors that influence development decisions. I also look forward to continuing more hands-on experience with financial modeling, development budgets, site planning, and project management. Beyond the technical aspects of development, I have a better understanding of how thoughtful planning can balance profitability with environmental responsibility and the needs of surrounding communities. Ultimately, my goal is to connect what I've learned in the classroom with my professional experience, broaden my perspective on the development process, and develop the skills and confidence needed to take on greater responsibilities as I advance in my career.
